FILM CLUB is a membership-based Video on Demand (VOD) platform where indie filmmakers can self-distribute their films, and film enthusiasts can connect over their shared love of cinema. It’s like an online film festival where you can stream, engage, and support independent creators, AND be rewarded for your engagement.

Unlike traditional streaming services, FILM CLUB prioritizes filmmakers by offering better compensation that other platforms and it also has a central focus on creating a vibrant community with forums, live Q&As, and seminars to bring creators and audiences closer together.

You can join FILM CLUB right away by signing up with an email. Membership costs $15/month and gives you $5 in 'Credits' to use as you wish, access to our library of curated indie films, live events, discussions and other community features that we continue to develop.

We've all had enough of the internet trolls- it's time we value our energy in places that are intentional and FILM CLUB is dedicated to building a robust and quality community of filmmakers and audience members who really value film and connection.

To upload your film, create a FILM CLUB account, go to your profile, clock on 'Creator Labs' and follow the submission guidelines to start sharing your work and earning revenue (pending approval).

FILM CLUB doesn't believe in censorship but does support transparency and quality films, so every film uploaded is reviewed with the same criteria.

FILM CLUB offers a 50-50 split of profits (after estimated streaming costs of ~ $.024/minute) for VOD film rentals in a transparent revenue-sharing model that gives filmmakers a larger share of the earnings compared to traditional platforms.

The price for VOD rentals is based on the duration of a film and is built on an algorithm to give creators a greater Revenue Per Minute (RPM) than other platforms.

You retain control over your work by granting FILM CLUB a non-exclusive license to your films, so you can take it down at any time.

FILM CLUB welcomes all genres of independent films; short, long, series, documentary, etc. as long as you own the commercial rights to distribute content.
While we admire ALL creative works, content uploaded to FILM CLUB must adhere to the content guidelines to ensure it aligns with our community values.

Right now, by uploading you have a chance to have you and your film be a featured Film on FILM CLUB with a Q/A and discussion. We're always finding ways to add more value to members so it's very likely you may see the option to host your own live event screenings to host live Q&A sessions, premieres, and seminars to engage with their audience directly, etc.

FILM CLUB is accessible on most devices, including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets. We are working on also supporting streaming via smart TVs and compatible apps.

No, Currently, FILM CLUB supports online streaming only. Offline downloads may be introduced in future updates but it is unlikely. You may have to reach out the the creator directly about that.

Live events are exclusive to FILM CLUB members.
